$2000 – Daily Technician Fee
This fee includes days spent traveling to your project or working on, repairing or troubleshooting your Litetouch System. (Maximum 8 Hours per day)
$X,XXX – Travel Fee
This fee is reimbursment for Airfare, Rental Car, Hotel * Food for the duration of working on your project. Airfare, Rental Car and Hotel will be billed at the actual cost from the travel bussiness. Food per day will be billed at $150 per day.
$X,XXX – Miscellaneous Parts
This charge references any wire, fuses, transformers, network switches or any other part obtained locally while working on, repairing or troubleshooting your litetouch system. This item will be billed at the actual receipt cost from the store.
$10,000 – Litetouch CPU
(Part Only) – This item must be paid for prior to installation.
$1,000 – Transorb Board
(Part Only) – This item must be paid for after installation is complete or when the total number of parts installed exceed $5,000.
$1,000 – Load Module
(Part Only) – This item must be paid for after installation is complete or when the total number of parts installed exceed $5,000.
$250 – Keypad
(Part Only) – This item must be paid for after installation is complete or when the total number of parts installed exceed $5,000.
$200 – LED Converter
(Part Only) – Used to increase compatibility with led bulbs. This item must be paid for after installation is complete or when the total number of parts installed exceed $5,000.
EXAMPLE
Your lighting system works in some rooms but not half of your home. This tells me your CPU is okay and programming will not be required. I would fly to you and remove everything not working and reassemble each part of your Litetouch system one piece at a time until the bad part(s) are found. I am very fast at doing this and it could be done in 3-4 days total. I would only be in your home for 1-2 days as I bill for days spent traveling. The typical total cost for this has been $8,500 including labor, travel & parts.
The most common reason for half of your lighting system not working is remodeling work that shorts out the keypad loop or surge damage that breaks a part on the Litetouch low voltage network. A single bad Litetouch part can disable the entire Litetouch network even though all the other parts are good they can’t communicate because of the one bad part.
